Glen Haynes from TAFE SA has announced that they are doing things a little differently this year with regular follow up in-shed coaching until they feel the students are up to a high industry standard. He feels, as a group, this will benefit both the contractor who may not afford the time to let learner shearers go to an ‘improver school’, but also the student, with extra on the job training.
